Where the Sacred Meets the Profane
The Sacred Series is a body of photographic artworks created in Jerusalem, where women are body painted into sacred architecture across Jewish, Christian, and Muslim spaces.
This work is about making the invisible visible again. Flesh becomes stone. Woman becomes architecture. The body, so often shamed, hidden, controlled, or excluded from the holy, is returned to sacred space as a living invocation.
Raw, reverent, and unapologetic, the series challenges inherited ideas of blasphemy, purity, holiness, and belonging. It asks what becomes possible when women’s bodies, voices, and lives are not treated as threats to the sacred, but as essential expressions of it.
At its heart, The Sacred Series is a call for reverence, safety, and the restoration of Sacred Balance.

We, the Women, are the ancient force of creation and destruction.
Our voices
have been silenced for millennia.
Our bodies have been taken, used, beaten, raped and killed.
More women are killed each year than any other oppressed group.
We 'stand' - painted with the reminder of humanity's loss alongside the taboo of our STRENGTH.
This is our reminder that without the sovereignty and leadership of women, the world will collapse.
The loss of The Sacred Balance depends upon our re-membering.
Religious institutions have long endorsed and enabled human oppression subtly and overtly - suppressing freedom, autonomy, and sexuality in service of control, capital, and corruption.
This imbalance threatens Earth’s Actualisation
We must STOP.
Recalibrate ourselves between the cosmos and the earth,
Breathe Deeply,
And let go.
What is holy?
What is sacred?
