Photographed in Jerusalem’s Old City, this work channels the spirit of Lilith — the first woman, created equal from the earth, exiled and demonised for demanding autonomy.

Painted into the carved tablets of the Ten Commandments is an Israeli woman — the only participant who insisted her face be shown and her hair uncovered. She stands as the wild, unruly, & defiant: a living testimony to Lilith's legacy.

Through this artwork, Lilith speaks: the Commandments carved into stone failed to inscribe the most vital law — “Respect thy woman, and respect the earth.” Here, her spirit dissolves into doctrine only to reemerge in sacred resistance, demanding reverence, equality, and the restoration of balance.

WOMAN. LIFE. FREEDOM.
